Students usually come to me for these sessions or I can travel to them if necessary. I tailor yoga (posture movement) with co-ordination of breathing techniques. Care is taken with bodywork depending on how they feel, physically and emotionally. Please see notes on Hatha Yoga.
Mindfulness meditation is taught by either sitting comfortably on the floor or sitting on a straight-backed chair. Posture is important, legs crossed if on a mat and, if on a chair, feet placed hip width apart on a block or floor, a straight back and head with chin/jawline parallel to your lap and arms by your sides with palms resting on the tops of your thighs. Relaxation occurs with a body scan and correct breathing techniques.
